Zadok Technologies is accepting résumés for a Rig Electrician. The Electrician shall be knowledgeable and have experience in installation, commissioning, start-up, maintenance, and support of 12 and 24

VDC, 120

VAC, 240

VAC, and 480

VAC 3phase electrical equipment and devices as well as experience with electrical automation devices and systems including MCCs and VFDs. Responsibilities and Duties:

• Assists offshore drilling operations by maintaining and repairing electrical equipment
• Read technical documentation including Piping & Instrument Diagrams, loop drawings, wiring schematics, and specifications
• Inspect, repair, and replace switches, control devices, wiring, digital and analog electrical signal and communication systems, solar and battery systems and remove small generators, transformers, and various low voltage A/C (up to 480V) and 12/24
  
  VDC systems.
• Troubleshoot breakdowns, diagnose faults, and execute repairs.
• Maintain electrical spare parts inventory to maintain systems reliability.
• Ensure all electrical and control systems are installed and maintained in a manner consistent with sound engineering practices, all applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
• Maintain an open line of communication with company and client representatives

Candidates should have working knowledge of the following systems and equipment:

• TDX
  1250 top drives
• ST160 / MPT
  270 Iron Roughnecks
• Hydraracker IV-ER Pipe racking Systems
• Pneumatic fingerboards
• AHD and SSGD Drawworks
• 14P220 Mud Pumps
• Hydraulic Elevators
• HV/LV Transformers
• SWBD Maintenance
• Water cooler dynamic braking resistors

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Electrician experience, offshore in the Oil and Gas Industry.
• Electrical Subject Matter Expert – excellent electrical troubleshooting skills and techniques
• Passport is required
