Low Voltage Technician

$25–$40/hour (depending on experience) Vue Tech is hiring a Low Voltage Technician to support the installation of security systems, network infrastructure, and cabling for commercial clients across the Bay Area. We specialize in surveillance systems, access control, structured cabling, and IT environments. As demand continues to grow, we are expanding our field team to support ongoing installations and service work. This role is ideal for a technician with hands-on experience who wants to develop technical skills and grow within a fast-paced environment.

• Install and run low voltage cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, and basic fiber when needed)
• Assist with installation of security camera systems and access control systems
• Support network equipment installation (routers, switches, racks)
• Read and follow installation plans, wiring diagrams, and blueprints
• Test systems and troubleshoot basic technical issues

• 1+ year of experience in low voltage, cabling, or security systems
• Basic knowledge of cabling (Cat5e/Cat6) and installation practices
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to work on-site and follow instructions
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Basic understanding of electrical safety

• Experience with IP cameras or surveillance systems
• Experience with access control systems
• Experience with network installations
• Familiarity with tools and testing equipment
• Interest in growing into a Lead Technician role
