Aglobally recognized leader in immersive audio, visual, and consumer technology is seeking a highly skilled Cinema and Gallery A/V Technician.

Cinema and Gallery A/V Technician - Location:
San Francisco, CA - Duration: 12 months contract with possible extension
- Pay Range: $30 – $35 per hour on W2
Operate Audio, Video, and Projection systems for media demos, film screenings, presentations, and events. Provide weekday, weekend, and evening availability as required.
Job Functions and Qualifications- Operate audio, video, lighting, and projection systems and provide technical assistance for Cinema and Gallery demos and events.
- Route digital and analog signals through networked systems and physical patch bays accurately and quickly.
- Set up and operate small PA systems and presentation monitors for building–wide events.
- Assist in content management on projection systems and conduct general A/V maintenance.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the projection booth, tech areas, and storage rooms.
- Exhibit excellent customer‑facing skills and handle critical high‑pressure issues for all levels of staff, including executive leadership.
- Possess a fundamental understanding of audio and video signal flow, cinema projection systems, live sound mixing, wireless mic systems, and live event workflows.
- Demonstrate strong technical troubleshooting, problem‑solving, and documentation skills with keen attention to detail.
- Adapt to changing priorities, collaborate effectively with event teams, and perform well under pressure.
- Show competency in both Mac and PC operating systems.
- Use PowerPoint presentations in a corporate event environment.
- Work independently while collaborating within a team setting.
- Exhibit excellent multitasking skills and meet specific deadlines.
- Communicate effectively, present confidently, and engage various organizational levels.
Skills and Qualifications
- Knowledge of and experience with cinema projection systems.
- Experience using Dante, Pro Tools, and Audio Architect.
- Experience with Crestron systems.
- Experience with complex KVM systems.
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
