Become a Key Player as an HVAC/Refrigeration Technician
You will maintain and repair commercial and industrial HVAC/R equipment to keep facilities running smoothly. You will work independently in the field, interact directly with customers to review work and quotes, and help the team identify preventative maintenance opportunities and larger-system issues. Onsite (field-based) role in San Francisco, CA.
Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team
- Perform service and preventative maintenance on commercial and industrial HVAC/R equipment
- Diagnose equipment problems and determine root causes
- Complete repairs and troubleshoot larger commercial systems (including 20–40 ton units)
- Communicate directly with customers about work performed and review recommended repairs/quotes
- Identify preventative maintenance opportunities and potential equipment issues before they escalate
- Build ongoing customer relationships and identify additional service needs
Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role
- At least 1 year of HVAC/R experience
- EPA Universal Certification
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience
Here's What Else Might Help You Out
- Commercial or industrial HVAC/R experience (preferred)
- Electrical and mechanical knowledge
- Ability to read schematics and drawings
- HVAC/R technical schooling or additional certifications
Pay Range
$33.80 - $42.25/hour
