Master's Degree: $64,008 - $76,810
GGRC is currently hiring for Social Workers in our Early Start Division. This is a Hybrid flex schedule role offering the opportunity to work in the community, from any of our offices located in San Francisco County and from the comfort of your own home.
What you’ll Do- Conduct needs assessments with clients/families of children aged 0-3 and develop, implement, and coordinate their Family Service Plans as an advocate and service coordinator.
- Provide referrals, monitor progress, and evaluate effectiveness of community resources.
- Maintain client records, case and Title XIX progress notes, determine eligibility for further GGRC services.
- Coordinate transition from Early Start services to local school districts or other community programs.
- Prepare special incident reports and other required documents, ensuring compliance with state regulations.
- Travel locally within San Francisco, San Mateo, Marin counties and occasionally statewide, with reliable transportation and ability to move between multiple locations throughout the day.
- Fluency in reading and speaking Spanish is required.
You have:
- Experience in multicultural settings and/or multilingual capacity.
- Knowledge of identifying and navigating generic services.
- Knowledge of principles, objectives, and techniques of counseling individuals.
- Knowledge of typical and atypical child development behavior, human growth, and family relationships.
- Knowledge of state and federal legislation concerning Early Start regulations and services for high‑risk infants and their families.
- Good interview skills and team spirit.
- Ability to balance conflicting priorities and focus on key job outcomes.
- Proactive ability to stay current with new information in the area of expertise.
- Excellent communication skills in producing business‑like documents and conveying complex information concisely and professionally.
- Familiarity with MS Office or similar software applications.
- Creativity and problem‑solving skills.
- Organizational skills and time management.
- Crisis management and decision‑making.
- Empathic and respectful of cultural awareness.
- Bachelor’s Degree in social welfare or related human services field. Master’s Degree preferred.
- Case management experience with infants or children under 4 strongly preferred.
- Fluency in Spanish is preferred; possibility for bilingual caseload conversion.
