Position Summary

GLIDE’s Women’s Center is seeking a compassionate and organized Program Coordinator to support the delivery of services for individuals who identify as women who are in immediate need of housing, essential needs (e.g., food, clothes, hygiene supplies) health and mental health services, navigation, and case management support, group support, etc. due to homelessness, gender-based violence, and trauma. The Women’s Center will assess client’s needs, provide information and support to overcome barriers, provide early intervention, and case management.

The Women’s Center Program Coordinator will assist the Senior Director to plan, coordinate, and implement the Center’s programs and services, provide direct services, and support other general operations of the program, such as facilitate/co-facilitate groups and plan Center events. This individual will collaborate with the director, staff, and community partners to ensure compliance with multiple-funding sources and their requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, coordinate, and maintain relationships and collaborations with GLIDE’s programs, established and new community partners to benefit participants and promote GLIDE’s Women’s Center.
  • Be responsible for the coordination, creation, maintenance of service and/or staff schedules and business documentation (e.g. reports, flyers).
  • Working in collaboration with case managers, develop and document Individualized Service Plans (ISPs) for clients, including data entry and reporting through CRM tools. Be responsible for organizing and managing Women’s Center events, which will involve coordinating all logistical aspects.
  • Provide data coordination and quality assurance checks to ensure services meet predetermined standards and client satisfaction.
  • Provide low-threshold advocacy and case management, which includes referral, linkages, and assistance to health, health services, legal aid, and other human services and resources to support the client to reach their goals for improved safety, wellness, and quality of life.
  • Conduct street and community outreach and attend community events to reach women and to promote the Women’s Center.
  • Collaborate with Director to assign administrative tasks, referrals, cases, etc. to program staff. Ensure timely referral processing and allocation of new cases to other Women’s Center staff.
  • Perform triage, intakes, needs assessments, service planning, service coordination, and follow up contacts in person, by email or phone with clients and other providers.
  • Apply strength-based services that are centered around motivational interviewing, cultural humility, and trauma-informed care.
  • Plan, organize, and oversee group sessions, activities, workshops, and individual support services for clients Lead/co-facilitate women educational and empowerment groups virtually and onsite.
  • Maintain files and database records to track client progress. Prepare reports, success stories and challenges for internal review and reporting to external funders and stakeholders;
    Ensure timely and accurate compliance with all reporting requirements.
  • Adhere to professional boundaries and standards. Understand and follow basis ethics, values, and principles of regulatory practices. Adhere to all laws and requirements regarding HIPPA, confidentiality, child protective services, contractual agreements, etc.
