Max AI is the World’s first human-free, fully-autonomous medical billing AI agent. We are tackling a $350B/yr market with a world-class team and a rapidly expanding scope across specialties. Our Head of AI has 10+ years of AI research experience at MIT and Caltech; our Head of Engineering was an early engineer at Figma.

Responsibilities

• Taking ownership of the entire product lifecycle—from initial concept to final deployment.
• Creating scalable and reliable solutions aimed at optimizing revenue cycle management.
• Working closely with a small, high-impact team while directly engaging with customers to facilitate significant enhancements.

Tech Stack

• Languages & Frameworks: Type Script, Nestjs, Python, Django
• Client Application Technologies: Nextjs, React, Shadcn, Jotai
• Database: Postgres, Redis, Clickhouse
• Infrastructure: Kubernetes, AWS, Pulumi, ArgoCD, Kafka
• APIs: tRPC, REST
• Environment: Integrated full-stack development

Required

• 6+ years of full-stack development experience
• Expertise in front-end frameworks (e.g., React or equivalent)
• Strong back-end skills with a deep understanding of databases
• Proven ability to build and deploy production-grade software at scale

• Experience working at high-growth startups
• Exposure to AI/ML projects or regulated industries
• Advanced AWS knowledge

Compensation

• $140k - $220k USD
