What you'll do

Developer experience has been a key element of Chroma's success from the beginning. As a Product Engineer at Chroma, you will be responsible for implementing core user-facing features across the Chroma platform, with the attention to detail and care that our users have come to expect.

You will work closely with engineers across Chroma to build web-based product features including developer cloud dashboards, analytics and visualization tooling, and more.

• You have 2+ years of professional engineering experience building complex production web applications.
• You have experience with Type Script and React, across front and back-ends.
• You have worked with high-performance web technologies like WebGL, WebGPU, Web Sockets.
• Craft and beauty are important to the way you build software. You care about the details, and you take pride in your work.

• You have experience working on a web-based developer-focused tool or platform.
• You've spent an unreasonable amount of time optimizing page load times.
