WhatWe're Looking For
We are seeking an Engineer with over 3 years of experience in Web Automation to take ownership of our existing automation workflows and enhance them for speed, resilience, and scalability. You will collaborate closely with our product team to improve systems that extract data from diverse and dynamic endpoints. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem‑solver who thrives in fast‑paced environments and knows how to develop production‑ready automation systems.
YourResponsibilities
- Implement web automation across various endpoints with different complexities.
- Enhance and modernize current workflows using tools like Playwright and Puppeteer.
- Design frameworks for abstract and repeatable automation processes.
- Apply advanced anti‑bot evasion techniques, including CAPTCHA solving and IP rotation.
- Improve error handling, resilience to website changes, and execution speed.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to debug edge cases and scale data acquisition efforts.
- 3+ years of experience in web automation or web scraping roles.
- Proficiency in Node.js and/or Python scripting.
- Hands‑on experience with headless browsers (Playwright, Puppeteer, or Chrome Dev Tools Protocol).
- Comprehensive understanding of browser behavior, HTTP/S, cookies, sessions, and DOM manipulation.
- Experience in overcoming anti‑bot systems, rate limiting, and fingerprinting.
- Ability to understand, enhance, and maintain existing automation codebases.
- Exposure to cloud infrastructure (AWS), CI/CD, or automation in distributed environments.
- Experience working in Agile product teams or startup environments.
- Familiarity with Dev Ops tooling, browser debugging, or mobile/web crawling.
