We are looking for an operationally-minded scientist or biopharma project manager to oversee lab experimentation and data generation efforts erimental data is key to testing research hypotheses and training frontier AI models. You will help set the vision and execute scaling of Chai’s lab-in-the-loop data engine, manage CRO and external research partners, and work hand-in-hand with our science and AI research teams.

Our ideal candidate is a top tier execution-minded professional, who always keeps the trains running on time and always operates with urgency. Strong communication skills are essential, and the the ability to interpret and package up data is a huge bonus.

• Able to juggle many concurrent projects, adapt priorities quickly, and keep everyone in sync with tight feedback loops

• Proven record of designing & executing complex projects, while managing multi-party relationships.

• Excellent at communicating highly technical information with internal & external audiences, up and down the org chart.

Scientific Background:

We are targeting individuals with strong scientific backgrounds, but are open to self-starters who can learn fast and dive deep into new domains. Experience working with CROs and complex networks of partners is extremely beneficial.

• MS equivalent industry experience in Biological Sciences, Protein Engineering, Biochemistry, or a related field;
  PhD is a bonus.

• Exposure to design and characterization of traditional and next-generation biologics. Familiar with antibody design constructs, expression and purification campaigns, and binding and develop ability assays.

• Able to inspect data, draw sound conclusions, and summarize key findings.

• Literacy with computational tools like Graph Pad Prism, Python, and R will be helpful.
