Lead Software Engineer

Lead Software Engineer () – Join our mobile engineering team and lead the development of tvOS/iOS native applications.

We are looking for a highly motivated Lead Software Engineer to enhance the video‑streaming experience for our mobile customers. You will guide a team through complex problems in a collaborative environment while staying current with iOS/tvOS development.

• Technical development, debugging, and delivery of best‑in‑class tvOS and iOS native applications
• Unit‑test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
• Lead the delivery of top‑quality tvOS and iOS native applications
• Collaborate successfully with cross‑functional teams to define, design, and deploy new features
• Work closely with your team to ensure timely delivery of features and improvements
• Promote good business practices in a positive and constructive manner
• Foster a positive work environment that encourages collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
• Explore, evaluate, and implement new technologies to optimize development efficiency and productivity
• Oversee the implementation of upgrades, rebuilds, and portability of applications
• Manage multiple tasks and projects in a results‑driven environment
• Evaluate opportunities to bring new technical features to mobile users
• Develop technical requirements documentation based on product requirements
• Cultivate solid working relationships with colleagues, customers (internal and external), and company management
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by management

• 5+ years of iOS development experience
• Excellent programming skills in Swift
• In‑depth knowledge of the iOS platform and deep familiarity with Xcode
• Sound programming fundamentals – memory management, multithreaded programming, animations, etc.
• Experience with UI design for all size classes using storyboards and xibs
• Key contributor to at least one publicly released native iPhone application
• Experience consuming RESTful APIs to connect with back‑end services
• Experience with Agile development processes
• Excellent interpersonal skills; can work well with non‑technical team members
• Ability to assist others in a technical capacity
• Strong problem‑solving and architectural skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• BS/BA degree in a technical field such as Computer Science or equivalent experience
