Harrison Clarke is partnering with a fast-growing, VC-backed startup in the San Francisco Bay Area that is building a modern, AI-enabled product used y’re hiring a Frontend Engineer to help craft high-quality, intuitive, and performant user experiences across their platform.
This is a role for engineers who care deeply about product craft, performance, and building interfaces that feel as good as they function.
About the RoleYou’ll join a product-focused engineering team where frontend is a core driver of the user experience. You’ll work closely with product, design, and backend engineers to build fast, accessible, and scalable interfaces that users rely on daily.
This is not just a UI implementation role, you’ll have real ownership over frontend architecture and product decisions.
What You’ll Do- Build and maintain responsive, high-performance web applications
- Collaborate with design and product to bring ideas to life end-to-end
- Architect scalable frontend systems and component libraries
- Optimise performance, accessibility, and UX across the platform
- Integrate APIs and backend services into seamless user experiences
- Contribute to technical direction and frontend best practices
- Strong experience as a Frontend or Full Stack Engineer with frontend focus
- Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and product thinking
- Experience building scalable, production-grade frontend systems
- Attention to detail and pride in craft and user experience
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, startup environments
- Experience in early-stage or high-growth startups
- Familiarity with design systems or component libraries
- Exposure to backend systems or full‑stack development
- Experience working closely with designers in product‑led teams
