#We Are Paramount  on a mission to unleash the power of content… you in? We’ve got the brands, we’ve got the stars, we’ve got the power to achieve our mission to entertain the planet – now all we’re missing is… YOU! Becoming a part of Paramount means joining a team of passionate people who not only recognize the power of content but also enjoy a touch of fun and uniqueness.

Together, we co‑create moments that matter – both for our audiences and our employees – and aim to leave a positive mark on culture.

We are seeking a highly motivated lead engineer to join our Applle engineering team. This is a unique opportunity for an engineer with deep technical instincts and a collaborative spirit to work directly on the personalized streaming experience for our growing mobile customer base. As a senior technical contributor and team guide, you will help the team navigate complex problems in a dynamic, highly collaborative environment.

We pride ourselves on constantly evaluating and adapting the latest iOS and tvOS capabilities, and there’s always something new to learn. The ideal candidate is a technically solid engineer who works well across teams, communicates clearly with both engineers and non‑technical stakeholders, and brings a methodical approach to building reliable, scalable mobile experiences. Experience working alongside data science, ML, and product teams is a plus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Explore, evaluate, and implement new technologies to optimize development efficiency and productivity.
  • Evaluate opportunities to bring new technical features to mobile users.
  • Develop technical requirements documentation based on product requirements.
  • Technical development, debugging, and delivery of best‑in‑class tvOS and iOS native applications
  • Collaborate successfully with cross‑functional teams to define, design, and deploy new features.
  • Cultivate solid working relationships with colleagues, customers (internal and external), and company management.
  • Work closely with your team to ensure the timely delivery of features and improvements.
  • Successfully manage multiple tasks and projects in a results‑driven environment.
  • Excellent programming skills in Swift
  • In‑depth knowledge of the iOS and tvOS platforms and deep knowledge with Xcode.
  • Experience working with memory management, multi‑threaded programming, animations, etc.
  • Experience working on UI design for all size‑classes.
  • Experience in consuming RESTful APIs to connect with back‑end services.
  • Strong problem solving and architectural skills.
  • Experience with A/B testing, feature flagging, and client‑side experimentation — including experiment assignment, holdout groups, and measuring feature impact within an existing testing framework.
  • Experience integrating ad‑serving products into Apple applications — knowledge with ad surfaces, impression tracking, and working alongside ad tech teams in a production environment.
  • Working knowledge with ML‑driven product features — enough to collaborate proficiently with data science teams on API contracts, discuss what signals the client should capture, and reason about whether issues are a data, model, or rendering problem.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; able to work well with non‑technical members of the development team.
  • Ability to assist others in a technical capacity.
Basic Qualifications
  • 7+ years of Apple development experience.
  • Acted as a key contributor to at least one publicly released native iPhone application.
  • Experience working with Agile development processes.
  • Desired Qualifications - BS/BA degree in a technical field such as Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • Background supporting the integration of rich media assets, including video, into mobile properties.
  • Experience building data‑driven or server‑driven UI — personalized feeds, ranked content surfaces, dynamic layouts, and the pagination, prefetching, and cache invalidation strategies that keep high‑velocity content feeling fast and fresh.
  • Experience working with entertainment, games, news, or sports‑related properties preferred.
Bonus Skills (Nice To Have)
  • Continuous Build & Test Automation experience.
  • Understanding of streaming video and DRM concepts.
