Job Description
Our Fortune 500 SaaS client is seeking an experienced Salesforce Quality Engineer to join a growing team supporting merger and acquisition work for CRM functions. This team operates in an Agile/Scrum environment and is looking for a self‑driven, consultative problem‑solver who can hit the ground running with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate brings a consulting background and the ability to independently lead quality initiatives across complex Salesforce implementations.
Responsibilities- Design, develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for Salesforce implementations, customizations, and integrations
- Lead quality assurance efforts across multiple Salesforce projects simultaneously
- Develop, enhance and maintain automated tests using tools such as Selenium, Provar, Copado, or similar Salesforce test automation frameworks
- Validate APIs, Apex classes/triggers, Lightning components, Flows, and third‑party integrations
- Collaborate with developers and administrators to identify root causes of defects and drive timely resolution
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated testing solutions (Jenkins, Git Lab CI, Azure Dev Ops)
- Ensure all testing activities comply with company policies and Salesforce platform governance standards
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide reliable QA task estimates
- Support data migration and validation efforts within Salesforce environments

- 9–10 years of overall Quality Engineering experience
- 3–5 years of hands‑on Salesforce QE experience (evaluated on a person‑to‑person basis)
- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, including Lightning, Apex, Visualforce, and SOQL
- Hands‑on experience with test automation frameworks for Salesforce (Provar, Copado, Selenium Web Driver)
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git Lab CI, Azure Dev Ops)
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Strong knowledge of data migration and validation techniques within Salesforce
- Exposure to performance and load testing tools
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and lead initiatives with minimal direction
- Experience using Java to write test scripts, experience with TestNG and in‑house framework enhancement and maintenance
- Consulting or client‑facing background strongly preferred
