Founding Engineer

We’re looking for a highly ambitious Founding Engineer to join a fast-growing AI startup building the next generation of developer workflows for production codebases.

This is a unique opportunity to work directly with the founding team and help shape both the product and the engineering culture from day one. You’ll operate in a fast-paced environment where speed, ownership, and product intuition matter as much as technical excellence.

You’ll be responsible for building and shipping product features end-to-end across frontend, backend, and infrastructure. Beyond coding, you’ll regularly interact with users, identify bottlenecks, propose improvements, and drive projects from idea to production with a high degree of autonomy.

We’re looking for engineers who enjoy building quickly, solving real user problems, and working close to the product. The ideal candidate is hands‑on, highly proactive, and comfortable operating in an early-stage startup environment.

Up to $200,000/year + equity

The ideal candidate has solid experience with Type Script and React, and is comfortable building full‑stack applications independently — from frontend interfaces to backend services and deployment. You should thrive in fast‑paced startup environments and enjoy shipping quickly while maintaining high product quality.

You are proactive, execution‑focused, and naturally identify problems before being asked. Rather than waiting for detailed specifications, you take initiative, propose solutions, and drive projects to completion.

We value engineers who combine technical depth with strong product instincts. You should be comfortable talking to users, understanding pain points, and translating feedback into product improvements.

A strong interest in AI‑powered developer tools and modern engineering workflows is important. Experience using tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, or other AI agents in your daily workflow is a major plus.
