Seniority5+ years of experience as a frontend engineer with a proven track record of shipping in a team with top-tier engineer culture. Should have top 80-90 percentile engineering skills with leadership qualities.
Experience- Hands‑on 0‑to‑1 front‑end product engineering experience at a start‑up.
- Proven track record at a company with world‑class product culture or exceptionally high talent bar.
- Prior experience founding a company or building products at early stages.
- Strong front‑end technical fundamentals with Type Script and React critical.
- Have strong product sense and a bias toward actioning product intuition, fast iteration, and continuous learning.
- Customer‑facing skills for working closely with clients.
- (bonus) Have healthcare experience or passion for improving health outcomes.
- Strong and aesthetic portfolios as demonstration of excellence highly welcomed.
Latent develops clinical AIs to solve pharmacy back office problems, especially prior authorizations. They are in major health systems across the US, including Mayo Clinic, and have seen substantial growth, 5x revenue through 2025.
Role RequirementsFront end development across all product areas, focusing on a complete UI makeover and improving UX.
Responsibilities- Building out Storybook for front end to streamline new product development.
- Must have skills:
React, Type Script, and Next.js or Tan Stack. - 5+ years of experience, with a strong preference for startup background over big tech or non-tech software development.
- Salary range is $200,000 to $275,000, with potential flexibility through hiring bonuses for exceptional candidates.
- Willing to sponsor visas except for new H1B. Open to OPT and H1B transfers.
- Immediate need for 2-3 front-end engineers, with potential to hire up to 5 if candidates are outstanding.
- The interview process includes a recruiting screen, coding screen, a React-specific tech screen, and a project-oriented onsite interview.
- High demand for their product in health systems, leading to an execution challenge to deliver effectively.
- Need for dedicated front-end engineers to handle increased workload and UI/UX improvements.
