• Participate in various activities needed to enhance Makani’s Optimization appliance such as:
  • Writing Perl scripts to automate test reporting
  • Scope, design and implement robust components for Makani’s product offerings
  • Enhance test infrastructure
  • Troubleshoot and fix bugs found in the product during testing
• Contribute ideas to make the group more efficient, effective and successful.

• Demonstrable expert with Perl scripting
• Demonstrable expert with C programming
• Experience with multiple operating systems (Linux, Unix, W2K-W2K3)
• Preferred - Some optimization experience. NAS, SAN, Clustering, Replication, RAID, Backup / Restore strategies
• Preferred - Some knowledge of L2, L3 Networking (Routing, VLANs)
• Preferred - Experience in various dev/test/release capacities
• BS in CS, EE or related field, plus four or more years applicable experience. MS preferred
