PMC– Fintech Engineering Lead; Onsite – San Francisco, California

Our client is a well‑funded, early‑stage fintech building next‑generation financial infrastructure for emerging markets. Backed by proven founders and major global distribution partners, this team is rebuilding cross‑border payments and consumer banking using modern rails, including stable coins. This is a hands‑on, senior technical role for an engineer who wants to build real financial systems from the ground up, not maintain legacy platforms.

• Own and architect core backend systems for a global consumer finance product
• Build and scale infrastructure across payments, ledgering, and crypto‑banking
• Work directly with technical founders to set engineering standards and best practices
• Ship software that handles real money at international scale, with Day‑1 global impact

• Python (FastAPI) backend on AWS
• Postgres, Redis
• REST APIs powering iOS, Android, and Web clients
• Integrations with banking APIs, payment rails, and crypto wallet providers
• Openness to Rust and/or Go for performance‑critical services

• 5+ years building and shipping fintech software
• Deep expertise in at least one of: payments, ledgering, stablecoin infrastructure, or risk/fraud
• Strong backend fundamentals and experience operating production systems
• Proven track record of building, not just maintaining, financial systems
• Comfortable working in a fast‑moving, senior‑only, in‑office environment
• Git Hub profile required
