As an Engineering Leader focused on growing creators’ revenue, you will lead a team that builds products, features, and experiences that enable creators to earn a living doing what they love. You’ll take ownership of services—from architecture to operations—and partner across functions to deliver solutions on features like Subscriptions, Gifting, Turbo, Bits, and Hype Train. This role can be based in San Francisco, CA or Seattle, WA.

• Lead a team of engineers to design, build, and operate full stack applications.
• Establish a clear vision for your team and generate urgency to deliver for our customers.
• Maintain focus on delivering results, even if that means disrupting process or protocol.
• Articulate career growth behaviors and keep your people development radar on.
• Dissect trade‑offs, make conscious choices, and overcome challenges.
• Parse, ingest, challenge, and reframe proposals and plans for improvement.

• 3+ years of engineering team management experience
• Experience partnering with product or program management teams
• 8+ years of software development experience (including 2+ years of people management)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; clarity of thought and articulation are critical
• Experience with web services, cloud infrastructure, and system design
• Ability to attract, hire, and retain engineering talent
• Comfortable operating within an ambiguous, ever‑changing environment
• Track record of leading teams to design, implement, and operate consumer‑facing applications
• Impact‑oriented and product engineering leader mindset

• Experience communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy
• Hands‑on experience building applications using Golang, AWS Cloud Infra, and/or React
• Experience building machine learning or AI applications
• Master’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field
