The Head of Software Engineering x Equity Partner will lead the software engineering team, providing strategic direction and overseeing the design, development, and deployment of software products. This full‑time, hybrid role is based in San Francisco, CA and allows the flexibility to work partially from home. Responsibilities include managing engineering projects, ensuring technical excellence, fostering innovation, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to align software solutions with business goals.
The role also entails mentoring junior engineers and staying abreast of emerging technologies to incorporate them into the company’s projects.
This position also going to a partnership with ownership for equity only. No free ride. Looking for individuals with cash on hand. (Skin In The Game).
Qualifications- Proficiency in Software Development, Software Architecture, and hands‑on Programming expertise.
- Experience with Team Leadership, Project Management, and technical Mentorship capabilities.
- Strong skills in Cloud Computing, System Design, and Dev Ops processes.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies, with expertise in fostering efficient and collaborative workflows.
- Exceptional Problem‑Solving and Critical Thinking skills to tackle technical and strategic challenges.
- Knowledge of scalable technologies and a focus on creating innovative, secure, and performant solutions.
- Preferred qualifications include a background in venture‑backed startups or experience in executive leadership.
- Minimum Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field; advanced degrees are advantageous.
