A cutting‑edge AI startup is hiring a Founding Forward Deployed Engineer to help customers successfully deploy and scale AI products within their environments. The company is continuing to expand its platform and is looking for an engineer who enjoys working at the intersection of software engineering, infrastructure, and customer engagement. This role combines hands‑on engineering with customer‑facing problem solving, helping integrate AI products into customer infrastructure and ensuring successful deployments.

You will work across Python, cloud infrastructure, APIs, and AI systems while partnering directly with customers to implement solutions, troubleshoot technical challenges, and guide adoption. As the founding engineer in this function, you will have significant ownership over processes, customer relationships, and technical implementations while helping shape how the company scales its deployment efforts.

• 3+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Infrastructure, or similar roles
• Strong Python experience building and supporting production systems
• Experience deploying applications within AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure, or similar cloud environments
• Experience working with APIs, integrations, and customer‑facing technical implementations
• Understanding of cloud infrastructure, system architecture, and deployment workflows
• Experience building AI‑powered applications, AI agents, or similar systems is a plus
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work directly with technical customers
