WhatYou Will Be Doing
- Resolve challenging problems that arise in providing a high‑performance, interactive experience for analytics and workflow use cases on modern warehouses.
- Build software using the latest developer tools and languages such as Rust, Go, Graph
QL, and Typescript. - Develop new algorithms and techniques for improving performance and interactivity for world‑leading companies.
- Triage product or system issues and debug, track, or resolve root causes.
- Design and implement new software features to support our fast‑growing user base.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional groups—infra, design, product, customer support, sales, and marketing—to build innovative product capabilities.
- 10+ years of industry experience building and maintaining high‑quality software.
- Experience building and deploying robust, secure web applications in a continuous deployment environment.
- Strong desire to be a great teammate, have fun at work, and take ownership of your work.
- Strong sense of craftsmanship and a healthy academic curiosity to solve challenges at Sigma.
- Strong computer science fundamentals.
- Experience building software capabilities for large‑scale data web applications.
- Data‑driven aptitude and its application to distributed system problems.
- Data model design and API development experience for customer‑facing capabilities.
- Prior experience at a high‑growth company solving technical problems to enable continued success.
Base Salary: $240k – $270k annually (may vary based on qualifications, skills, and experience). This role is eligible for stock options and a comprehensive benefits package.
