Role Overview

As a Senior Agentforce Forward Deployed Engineer, you will lead the design, development, and delivery of advanced AI solutions for strategic clients. Your responsibilities extend beyond coding to deeply understanding customer challenges, architecting sophisticated systems, and ensuring end-to-end technical delivery that leverages the Agentforce platform and related technologies.

• Drive Tangible Outcomes through Hands‑On Implementation: Responsible for end‑to‑end technical delivery of complex AI solutions, writing critical code, configuring systems, troubleshooting issues, and guiding junior team members.
• Build Transformative AI Solutions: Own design, development, and deployment of scalable production systems, including AI and large language model based intelligent agents built on Salesforce.
• Engineer Bespoke Agentic AI Solutions: Collaborate with customers to design custom intelligent agents that meet unique business requirements and integrate with existing ecosystems.
• Data Configuration & Integration: Own the data lifecycle from model design to efficient processing pipelines and integration strategies, ensuring secure, optimized data ready for AI applications.
• Proactively Remove Technical Blockers: Identify, analyze, and resolve complex technical challenges across data integration, model deployment, and agent orchestration.
• Drive Agentforce Innovation: Lead development of bespoke agents, automate business processes, craft user experiences, and influence future product enhancements.
• Become a Trusted Strategic Partner: Embed with client teams, translate operational challenges into technical requirements, and serve as the primary technical advisor.
• Conduct Deep‑Dive Technical Debugging and Root Cause Analysis: Analyze, debug, and identify root causes for complex systems, data flows, and AI model behaviors to optimize performance.
• Lead Rapid Prototyping and Iteration: Build proofs‑of‑concept and minimum viable products quickly, coding with clients to demonstrate capabilities and gather feedback.
• Implement and Enforce Best Practices: Apply and evangelize engineering best practices for code quality, scalability, security, and maintainability across all deployed solutions.

• 5+ years of experience in a hands‑on, end‑to‑end delivery role for high‑quality, scalable production solutions.
• Strong background in Computer Science or a related engineering discipline.
• Expert‑level proficiency in one or more programming languages (JavaScript, Java, Python, Apex).
• Extensive experience building and deploying AI/LLM solutions, including integration of LLMs, advanced orchestration frameworks (Lang Chain, Llama Index), prompt engineering, and agentic frameworks.
• Deep expertise in data modeling, processing, integration, and analytics with enterprise platforms (Salesforce Data Cloud, Snowflake, Databricks, Big Query).
• Significant direct experience with the Salesforce platform, including advanced configuration, customization, and complex development.
• Demonstrated entrepreneurship, a “get‑things‑done” attitude, and a focus on fast, impactful delivery, with proven leadership of technical initiatives.
• Exceptional collaboration, communication, and presentation skills for technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to lead technical engagements, mentor junior team members, and oversee technical aspects of projects.
• Ability to travel 25‑50% of the time to customer sites.
• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience.
• B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or MIS.
• Knowledge of related applications, relational databases, and ERP technologies.
• Strong oral, written, presentation, collaboration, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team in varied political environments.
