Engineers will have the opportunity to work closely with our team onsite to understand the variety of use cases that Peregrine serves.

We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to join our core engineering teams. You’ll work cross‑functionally with design and product management to build systems that are robust, scalable, and user‑centered. Our teams tackle a range of challenges, from enabling real‑time user collaboration on detailed maps to building high‑scale backend architecture for ingesting billions of data points.

We value both ownership and collaboration—you will take full responsibility for major features and work closely with other engineers to drive them to completion. This role sits at the heart of Peregrine’s platform strategy and execution. You will define how our core systems scale, perform, and evolve as Peregrine continues its rapid growth and deepens its impact across public safety, government, and enterprise customers.

• A proven leader who has successfully managed and scaled large (30+) high‑performing software teams
• Deeply experienced in building and operating distributed systems in real‑world production environments
• Comfortable operating at both 10,000 feet (strategy, architecture, org design) and ground level (execution, metrics, incident learning)
• A collaborative partner who works effectively across functions, time zones, and disciplines
• Passionate about observability, operational insight, and enabling engineers to move fast without breaking things
• A strong advocate for modern engineering practices — CI/CD, automation, testing, and iterative delivery
