We are looking for a spectacular engineer who lives and breathes Python and React. We have a strong preference for people who have proven experience working in small startups and on hard things. We are building the world's first AI native spreadsheet. Our goal is for the spreadsheet to do all your work for you. We aim to provide 10x larger, 10x faster computation.

• Take technical leadership in areas such as ML, permissioning, etc., adapting to priorities rapidly.
• Maintain the existing application and architect many of Sourcetable’s spreadsheet functions.
• Build out front‑end features to complement back‑end work, taking ownership of each feature.
• Implement specifications creatively while working closely with engineering team to ensure great outcomes.
• Drive implementation of clean, encapsulated, and tested code for a high‑quality product.
• Bring new processes and ideas to the organization using open source and cloud tech.

• CS degree or comparable technical experience.
• 9+ years of work experience.
• Experience with React, Python, No
  
  SQL databases, SQL, and spreadsheets.
• Deep understanding of memory management and scalability.

• Startup experience; ideally founding team or early engineer.
• 10x performance, reliable engineering, miniscule bug rate.
• Strong communication skills.
• Use of engineering best practices:
  Gitflow, CI/CD, testing, Docker.
• Familiarity with open‑source technologies and communities.
• Continuous learning, independent work, minimal supervision.

• Analyze market trends and data to drive informed strategies.
• Ensure cohesive brand message across platforms.
