Senior Product Designer - AthenaHQ

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the visual and interaction design for AI‑powered search products, ensuring consistency across SEO, GEO and AEO experiences.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and data scientists to translate AI insights into intuitive user interfaces.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and data‑driven analysis to iterate and improve design solutions.
• Create high‑fidelity mockups, interactive prototypes, and design systems in Figma that accelerate development.
• Work closely with front‑end engineers to implement designs using HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript patterns, ensuring pixel‑perfect delivery.

• 5+ years of professional product design experience, preferably in AI, search, or SEO‑related domains.
• Expert proficiency with Figma (or similar design tools) and a strong portfolio demonstrating end‑to‑end design processes.
• Solid understanding of user research methods, usability testing, and data‑informed design iteration.
• Hands‑on experience building responsive interfaces with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to influence cross‑functional teams in a fast‑moving startup environment.
