You will own features across the full stack—from React/Type Script frontends to Go backends—creating a product that empowers roommates and communities to manage money together. • Join as the third engineer alongside a world‑class team from Block/Cash App and Snap, directly influencing the product’s architecture and culture from the ground up.
• Build on a proven market opportunity with a founder who previously reached 50,000 users and processed $100K daily, now backed by $4.5M from top‑tier investors.
• Work on a complex consumer fintech product that solves real‑world friction in shared finances, using a modern stack and AI tools to accelerate development.

• Design and ship end‑to‑end features, balancing 60% frontend development in React/Type Script with 40% backend services in Go and PostgreSQL.
• Collaborate directly with the founder and small engineering team to scope, architect, and deliver high‑quality financial tools that feel effortless for consumers.
• Leverage and integrate emerging AI tools to increase engineering velocity while maintaining the security and reliability required for a live payments platform.

• Has a strong product sense and deep experience building consumer‑facing products with React and Type Script, emphasizing polished UI and trustworthy UX.
• Demonstrates a track record of ownership as a founding or early engineer, capable of navigating the ambiguity of an early‑stage startup environment.
• Is comfortable working in a hybrid San Francisco environment and eager to scale backend skills in Go within a modern infrastructure including AWS and Terraform.
