Overview
We are looking for an experienced Network Platform Software Engineer (12+ years) to develop Linux drivers and embedded software for next-generation Ethernet Switch and Network Interface Card (NIC) products.
Responsibilities- Develop Linux kernel drivers and embedded software using
C. - Build software for ARM-based embedded platforms.
- Develop SDK drivers for Ethernet PHY/PCS components.
- Collaborate with hardware, ASIC, and validation teams to bring up new networking silicon.
- Debug, optimize, and enhance software performance and reliability.
- Work with application engineering teams and customers to implement new features and resolve issues.
- 12+ years of experience in Linux driver development, embedded software, or networking software.
- Strong programming skills in
C. - Experience with Linux kernel/device driver development.
- Experience developing software for ARM-based embedded systems.
- Good understanding of Ethernet (IEEE 802.3), PHY/PCS, and networking fundamentals.
- Experience with Layer 2/Layer 3 switching and routing.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Ethernet switch or NIC products.
- Networking ASICs (Broadcom, Marvell, Intel, NVIDIA, etc.).
- Silicon bring-up and hardware/software integration.
- Python or Shell scripting.
