- Collaborate with experienced cross‑disciplinary Amazonians to conceive, design, and bring innovative products and services to market.
- Design and build innovative technologies in a large distributed computing environment and help lead fundamental changes in the industry.
- Deliver customer value in an iterative fashion while working towards longer‑term systems goals.
- Build distributed storage, index, and query systems that are scalable, fault‑tolerant, low cost, and easy to manage/use.
- Design and code the right solutions starting with broadly defined problems.
- Work in an agile environment to deliver high‑quality software.
As part of the Off‑Amazon Selection (OAS) organization, you’ll play a pivotal role in expanding Amazon’s selection by enabling customers to discover and purchase products directly from merchant stores that are not yet available on Amazon. Your work will help bring over a billion products into the Amazon shopping experience while shaping the next generation of agentic commerce. You’ll help pioneer the next generation of AI‑powered, agentic shopping experiences, enabling intelligent agents to seamlessly complete purchases on behalf of customers.

This is a highly efficient two‑pizza team with well‑established processes that foster collaboration and enable the team to move quickly while maintaining high standards. You’ll have the opportunity to work directly with customers, gain firsthand insight into their needs, and see the tangible impact of your work.
The team has a strong engineering culture, upholds high quality standards, and is continuously looking for ways to improve its processes, tools, and execution.
Basic Qualifications- 3+ years of non‑internship professional software development experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- Master’s degree in computer science or equivalent
