Forward Deployed Engineer Equity

Location: San Francisco, CA Employment Type: Full-Time Work Arrangement: On-site (5 days/week)
Compensation: $160,000–$265,000 base salary + 75th percentile equity.

We are seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) to join a fast-growing fintech company building software for leading financial institutions. In this role, you'll work directly with customers to understand their challenges, design scalable solutions, and build products from concept to deployment. This is a highly hands-on position ideal for engineers who enjoy solving real-world problems, working closely with customers, and owning projects from 0 to 1 in a fast-paced startup environment.

• Work directly with customers to understand their processes, challenges, and business needs.
• Design, build, and launch full-stack software solutions from concept to production.
• Turn customer requirements into scalable technical solutions and product features.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and leadership teams to drive projects forward.
• Travel occasionally to customer sites and improve solutions based on real-world feedback.

• Strong software engineering skills with experience building and shipping products.
• Full-stack development experience across frontend and backend systems, APIs, databases, and system architecture.
• Proven ability to build products, features, startups, side projects, or hackathon projects from 0 to 1.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence working directly with customers.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.

• Experience with AI, LLMs, or automation technologies.
• Fintech, banking, or other regulated industry experience.
• Previous customer-facing engineering experience.
