Responsibilities- Architect, design, implement, test, and deliver highly scalable AI products to customers.
- Define and drive software architecture and enterprise capabilities (scalability, fault tolerance, extensibility, and maintainability).
- Design sophisticated software systems for high‑end solutions, collaborating with senior engineers and architects across AI Cloud and the company.
- Determine architectural principles, frameworks, and standards to create vision and roadmaps.
- Analyze product strategy and technical feasibility; provide feedback.
- Lead long‑term design strategies spanning multiple projects; produce technical reports and give performance presentations to customers and at industry events.
- Communicate with, encourage, and motivate staff at all levels.
- Serve as a subject‑matter expert for multiple products, writing code and collaborating with QA, PM, and UX to meet business and quality requirements.
- Diagnose complex production issues and coordinate with support and customers as needed.
- 12+ years of experience building highly scalable SaaS applications or platforms.
- Proven ability to independently deliver large, sophisticated projects.
- Mentor team members in software‑engineering architecture concepts and technical development.
- Experience building architectures that address complex performance issues.
- Deep knowledge of object‑oriented programming; proficiency in Java (or similar language).
- High proficiency in at least one high‑level programming language and web framework (Node.js, Express, Hapi, etc.).
- Strong understanding of web technologies (JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, XML, JSON, Ajax).
- Data‑model design, RDBMS & No
SQL, SQL and PL/SQL experience. - Experience with AI product delivery or partnership with AI teams.
- Automated testing experience (unit, functional, Java/JUnit, JSUnit, Selenium).
- Prior experience building scalable AI platforms or applications.
- Track record of driving long‑term design strategies across multiple projects.
- Experience delivering technical reports and presentations to customers and at industry events.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build relationships across technical and business teams.
- Full software lifecycle experience in highly agile and ambiguous environments.
- Experience with API development, lifecycle management, or client SDKs.
- Familiarity with machine learning or cloud platforms (AWS Sage Maker, Terraform, Spinnaker, EKS, GKE).
- Experience in AI/ML and data science, including generative and predictive AI.
- Experience with data engineering, pipelines, or distributed systems.
- Agile development practices, pair programming, CI/CD.
- Knowledge of Salesforce APIs and technologies.
- Strong debugging and problem‑solving skills for production escalations.

Compensation is based on location, role, and experience; base salary for this position ranges from $197,300 to $313,700 annually, with higher ranges in selected locations in the San Francisco and New York City metropolitan areas.
