OpenAI is seeking an AI Systems Engineer for Codex Core Agents to build dependable agent ecosystems in production. You will work across low-level systems and ML workflows to debug agent behavior end-to-end—from harness to model inference and runtime stacks.
You’ll design and implement the core execution loop, sandboxing, and orchestration, while collaborating with research and product teams to improve performance, safety, and reliability of Codex agents in real-world settings.
