We are seeking a Founding Full-Stack Engineer to join the earliest technical team at a fast-moving AI video infrastructure startup. The company's first product turns prompts and documents into whiteboard-style explainer videos in seconds, with a broader vision to make video generation fast, cheap, and programmable enough for AI to use video anywhere it uses text today. This is a founding engineering hire responsible for shaping the core product across the entire stack, from user-facing features to backend systems.

The ideal candidate thrives on ambiguity, moves fast, and takes real ownership of outcomes rather than waiting for a fully-scoped spec. You will work directly with the founder and help define how engineering operates from day one.

Design and ship features spanning frontend, backend, and infrastructure

Build APIs and workflows for accounts, projects, billing, and collaboration

Create frontend experiences that are fast, intuitive, and reliable

Improve onboarding, account visibility, and overall developer experience

Collaborate closely with product, design, and customers to prioritize work

Write clean, maintainable code and documentation for the team to build on

Strong full-stack engineering background with modern web applications

Experience with typed languages, frontend frameworks, backend APIs, databases, and cloud services

Solid product instincts and ability to simplify complex workflows for users

Comfortable shipping quickly while maintaining reliability on critical paths

Strong ownership mentality from problem definition through launch

Comfortable using AI tools to move faster, while relying on personal judgment to define and solve problems

Must be willing to work on-site in San Francisco, CA

Prior experience at an early-stage startup or founding engineering team

Experience operating without a formal ticket queue or fully-defined spec

Comfortable working across product, design, and infrastructure simultaneously
