Bee's Engineering team is looking for experienced engineers with strong full‑stack fundamentals to join one of the teams owning our current or emergent products. You'll be a technical leader who thinks holistically about the consumer and/or enterprise end user experience—whether through wearable hardware, mobile apps, developer API, enterprise deployments, or mission‑driven accessibility applications—and carry real end‑to‑end ownership.

You'll partner with engineering managers, product leaders, designers, and hardware engineers to understand what is possible with ambient capture and redefine how people interact with always‑on intelligence. You will own technical quality across the stack (performance, battery efficiency, privacy, real‑time processing, and developer experience), scale your efforts from individual users to enterprise deployments, and bring genuine excitement about what ambient AI makes possible.

  Build the products and tools—API, SDKs, docs, and observability—that give developers the confidence to build on top of Bee's ambient intelligence platform. Design APIs that respect privacy while delivering rich insights, and work closely with teams across the Platform org to turn Bee's ambient data into experiences developers can adopt—from first integration to production applications.
• Accessibility & Impact: Build the access programs, tooling, and product work that make ambient intelligence usable for people who could not otherwise access this capacity, including those with memory challenges, ADHD, executive function needs, language learners, aging adults, and accessibility‑first users.
• Enterprise AI Products: Understand why enterprise users are not activating, identify blockers to adoption, and build the capabilities to close those gaps so Bee becomes a daily‑use tool for enterprise teams across industries.
• Growth: Drive user acquisition, engagement, retention, and monetization through data‑driven strategies and technical implementations, working with a cross‑functional team to design, implement, and optimize growth initiatives that scale Bee adoption.

Bee operates with startup speed and autonomy while leveraging Amazon’s resources and scale. You will work directly with product, design, and hardware engineers—no layers, no bureaucracy. When you have an idea, you build it, ship it, and see real users respond within days. You own outcomes, not tickets, and you have access to Amazon’s infrastructure and ML tooling while having the freedom to make architectural decisions like a 10‑person startup.

• 5+ years of non‑internship professional software development experience
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems (design patterns, reliability, and scaling)
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team

• 5+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
