An industry-leading autonomous driving technology company has engaged us to find a Systems Test Engineer – Autonomy Behavior to help transform the validation and verification of next-generation self-driving systems. In this hands‑on individual contributor role, you'll lead the implementation, standardization, and automation of large-scale verification and validation (V&V) processes that ensure autonomous driving software performs safely and reliably. You'll play a key role in building the infrastructure, automation, and testing frameworks that support data-driven autonomy development and commercial deployment.

Impactful Work:
You’ll play a critical role in transforming how autonomous systems are validated by building scalable verification infrastructure, automating complex testing pipelines, and generating the evidence that supports the company's Autonomy Safety Case. Your work will directly improve the speed, quality, and confidence of autonomous software releases while helping advance one of the industry's leading self‑driving platforms.
- 5+ years of technical experience, including at least 3 years testing autonomous vehicles, robotics, or other autonomous systems.
- Strong programming skills in Python and/or C++ with experience developing automation tools and validation infrastructure.
- Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining large‑scale simulation environments or automated testing pipelines.
- Strong understanding of autonomy system architecture, including sensing, perception, prediction, planning, and how these systems interact.
- Experience applying systems engineering principles to verification, validation, and safety‑critical software development.
- Excellent analytical thinking, communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary engineering teams while providing technical leadership to partner organizations.
