Join Charta Health as a technical bridge between cutting-edge AI and real-world healthcare providers. You will customize and deploy AI-powered platforms to solve critical operational bottlenecks. This hands-on, client-facing role combines rapid prototyping with high-impact engineering, using LLMs and machine learning to transform how healthcare organizations operate and deliver patient care.

San Francisco and New York City, USA

• Work directly with founding engineers from Rockset (recently acquired by OpenAI) in a high-growth, mission-driven environment.
• Join a Bain Capital Ventures-backed team reimagining the infrastructure of the healthcare industry from the ground up.
• Experience a unique "Forward Deployed" model where you ship code that solves tangible problems for major healthcare providers immediately.

• Collaborate with healthcare clients to identify workflow inefficiencies and design custom AI/ML solutions to address them.
• Rapidly prototype, iterate, and deploy Charta Health’s AI platform to deliver immediate business value to external customers.
• Serve as the technical lead on client sites, integrating LLMs and prompt engineering into production-ready healthcare environments.

• Possesses professional proficiency in Python and hands-on experience deploying Large Language Models (LLMs) or ML systems.
• Demonstrates a strong bias toward shipping functional code and delivering business value over solving purely theoretical research challenges.
• Exhibits excellent communication skills and emotional intelligence, thriving in ambiguous, client-facing environments where technical problem-solving is paramount.
