Dinamo Biotechnologies seeks exceptional candidates with expertise in bioinformatics engineering. This position encompasses the algorithmic, data, and software engineering for bioinformatics computations. This is a 100% hands‑on, full‑time, on‑site role located at our laboratory in San Carlos, CA. Remote or hybrid work arrangements are not available.
Requirements- Undergraduate degree in computer science with 2 years of professional experience, or graduate degree in bioinformatics or computational science
- 2 years of experience with 'omics data
- Advanced programming skills in Python
- 2 years of experience with distributed data processing or high‑performance computing
- 2 years of experience with containers and cloud infrastructures
- Advanced AWS, serverless technologies, Terraform, SQL
- Expertise in compiled languages such as C++
- Bioinformatics DSL like Nextflow
- React.js frontend development
- Demonstrated computational contributions through publications, software, patents, or commercial products
