As a Forward Deployed Engineer at Onos Health, you will bridge the gap between AI technology and real-world deployment for major insurance payers. You’ll develop full-stack solutions, integrate with complex clinical systems, and ship production code that optimizes utilization management, ensuring millions of members receive high-quality, evidence-based behavioral healthcare.

• Join a founding-adjacent team of 15 people backed by top-tier investors like Haystack and Pathlight Ventures to transform behavioral healthcare.
• Own the end-to-end customer lifecycle, from deep technical integrations with payers like Aetna to building product features that land directly in production.
• Directly impact patient outcomes by using AI to reduce administrative friction and ensure healthcare dollars are spent on high-quality, evidence-based care.

• Partner with major payer customers to understand clinical workflows and integrate Onos Health with their internal UM and clinical systems.
• Build and maintain full-stack features using Python, Django, and PostgreSQL to solve complex data integration and clinical review challenges.
• Collaborate directly with the founding team to refine the product roadmap based on real-world customer feedback and deployment hurdles.

• Strong software engineering background with a product-first mindset, capable of navigating full-stack environments including Python/Django and AWS.
• Proven experience shipping production software at early-stage startups where you owned outcomes end-to-end and managed high levels of ambiguity.
• Excellent communicator comfortable working closely with customers to translate messy real-world clinical requirements into robust, scalable technical solutions.
