Back-End / Full-Stack Engineer (New Grad Role) – San Francisco, CA (On-Site)
Oakmont Consulting is a fast-growing startup modernizing a large static industry with software innovation. Our platform unifies fragmented legacy systems via modern APIs and an intuitive UI, enabling teams to save time, reduce errors, and operate more efficiently.
Base Pay Range$90,000.00/yr – $/yr
EligibilityOpen only to candidates graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in December 2025.
What You’ll Do- Build and scale backend systems processing millions of API requests per day.
- Integrate and modernize legacy on-prem systems via APIs.
- Work across backend and frontend, using your own APIs in real applications.
- Take ownership of complex technical problems with autonomy and impact.
- Use Redis, Postgres, AWS (CDK, EC2), Type Script, and React.
- Passionate about scalable systems and simplifying complex problems.
- Excited to work on‑site in San Francisco with a collaborative, technical team.
- Early-stage but well‑funded and validated startup with paying customers.
- Opportunity to make a real impact in a massive, overlooked industry.
