$140K–$260K base + meaningful equity
Our client is one of the fastest-growing companies in applied AI, building the platform that helps brands understand, measure, and win as AI search reshapes how customers discover products and services. The company has grown from zero to a $1B valuation in just 18 months, increased revenue 100x last year, and works with a meaningful share of the Fortune 500.
They are hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to serve as the technical bridge between product/engineering and strategic enterprise customers. This is a highly technical, customer-facing role for a full-stack engineer who wants to write production code, architect integrations, solve real-world enterprise problems, and work directly with senior technical and executive stakeholders.
What you’ll do
- Build custom integrations between the platform and enterprise systems.
- Write production-quality Type Script, Python, React, and Next.js code for client-facing solutions.
- Design scalable, secure architectures for high-volume enterprise data and workflows.
- Debug issues across customer environments and internal systems.
- Build data pipelines, dashboards, reporting tools, and automation workflows.
- Lead technical discovery, architecture discussions, workshops, and implementation planning with customer engineering teams and executives.
- Translate customer needs into technical solutions, then own delivery end-to-end.
- Identify repeatable client patterns and partner with Product and Engineering to turn them into scalable product capabilities.
- Help lead enterprise proofs of concept that can unlock major commercial partnerships.
What they’re looking for
- 2+ years of software engineering experience with production systems.
- Strong Type Script, React, and Next.js experience.
- Solid Python skills for backend development and data processing.
- Experience with APIs, systems integrations, PostgreSQL, and cloud infrastructure; AWS is preferred.
- Ability to build clean, maintainable, production-ready software—not just prototypes.
- Exceptional communication skills and comfort explaining technical concepts to non-technical and executive audiences.
- Experience working directly with enterprise customers, or a clear interest in a highly customer-facing engineering role.
- Strong ownership, comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to context-switch across multiple high-priority engagements.
- A genuine interest in helping large companies adopt and operationalize AI.
