We are looking for a Robot Systems Engineer with 1–8 years of experience to own the critical layer between physical hardware and software infrastructure.
You’ll be a strong software engineer with embedded systems experience who can integrate robot arms, teleoperation rigs, and sensor systems into reliable, production-grade stacks — not just firmware, but the full picture.
You’ll be building infrastructure for robots operating across hundreds of miles with sub-200ms round-trip latency. You should be startup‑minded, comfortable moving quickly, and able to debug across hardware-software boundaries in ambiguous environments.
What You Will Be DoingBuild infrastructure for deployed robots operating at scale, ensuring sub-200ms round-trip latency across hundreds of miles.
Integrate new robot arms, haptic devices, teleoperation rigs, and sensor systems into reliable software stacks used by research and deployment teams.
Debug hardware-software integration issues across drivers, communication protocols, calibration systems, and physical hardware.
Develop software interfaces and abstraction layers connecting hardware to ML training and data pipelines.
Partner with ML and hardware teams to rapidly operationalize new hardware capabilities.
1+ years of experience in embedded or systems engineering integrating hardware into software stacks.
Strong software engineering skills with embedded systems and hardware SDKs.
