Full-Stack Product Engineer

Design and build backend systems and data models powering Fable's human risk platform
Own features end-to-end, including frontend work when needed
Collaborate with design and product teams to create customer-ready experiences
Engage with early users, gather feedback, and iterate quickly
Contribute to engineering culture through code reviews, shared ownership, and mentorship
Ship production-grade code while balancing quality and speed

• 3-5 years of experience building and shipping fullstack or backend-heavy applications
• Strong fluency with Django or similar frameworks
• Strong backend fundamentals, including API design, data modeling, and persistence
• Hands-on Postgres experience, including schema design and query performance
• Experience building frontend interfaces, ideally with React or Next.js
• Familiarity with Type Script and GraphQL, or willingness to grow into them
• Ability to take features from concept to production independently
• Customer-focused mindset

• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-ownership environments

Demonstrates expertise in building and shipping fullstack applications with a strong focus on backend development, including API design and data modeling.
