OpenAI is looking for a System Software Engineer to join their First-Party Hardware team in San Francisco. In this hands-on role, you will design and validate low-level system software for first-party AI hardware systems. This includes managing software for hardware diagnostics and ensuring successful integration of partner/vendor software.
Ideal candidates will have 7+ years of low-level system software experience, strong skills in C/C++, and familiarity with Linux-based systems. The position supports a hybrid work environment.
Compensation range is $266K - $445K.
