cmux is seeking a founding engineer to own cmux on Windows and Linux—built on our own fork of Chromium. You will port the Ghostty terminal core and agent orchestration, maintain the Chromium fork, and ensure smooth installer, auto-update, and crash reporting.
The role requires deep C++ and Chromium work, plus a willingness to contribute to upstream efforts, with Rust a plus. Location is San Francisco and compensation includes equity.
