Senior Growth Engineer Role

Work Experience:
Must have
Full-stack ownership of features shipping end-to-end PLG features (onboarding, activation, upgrade prompts) that measurably moved a metric.
Hard Skills Must have- Proficiency with React, Type Script, Next.js, and Node.js
- A/B testing and experimentation frameworks
Seniority:
Required:
5 - 12 years of experience as a full-stack engineer with hands-on growth work as an IC at an early- or growth-stage startup.
Work ExperienceRequired:
Ran growth experiments / A-B tests and analyzed funnels (event tracking, SQL/product analytics) to find growth levers.
Hard Skills RequiredAI-native workflow: fluent using AI coding tools (Cursor, Copilot, Claude Code) to ship faster.
Soft Skills RequiredTrusted IC who shapes the growth roadmap and can partner with leadership to ship product.
Nice-to-have Work Experience Nice to haveBuilt internal tooling that growth/product teams adopted.
Traits to Avoid Avoid- Pure frontend-only or backend-only specialists
- Growth marketers, SEO or content, lifecycle or CRM, or GTM ops profiles
- Pure research or platform engineers without product instincts
- Treats AI tools as a novelty rather than daily infrastructure
- Own the growth surfaces end to end: signup, activation, onboarding, and conversion
- Instrument the funnel, run experiments, and ship the changes that move real metrics
- Build full-stack, from the frontend a developer first touches to the backend that powers it
- Treat conversion and activation as your number, you own it, measure it, and move it
- Work close to the data, form hypotheses, test them, and iterate fast on what works.
- You're a strong full-stack engineer who's worked on growth or PLG products
- You've personally owned a conversion, activation, or funnel metric, and moved it, not just shipped features someone else measured
- You think like a scientist: hypothesis, experiment, measure, iterate, and you've run real A/B tests you can talk about, including what you learned when they didn't go as planned
- Bonus if you've shipped in-product growth surfaces at a dev-tools or SaaS company (onboarding, activation, upgrade flows, in-product guidance) or built conversion pages that measurably moved signup, not just static pages that shipped
- Bonus for…
