As a Systems Architect on Mesh Mesh, you will shape the technical foundation and long-term architecture of our mesh networking platform, working closely with engineering leaders to ensure the system scales with customer demand.
** Responsibilities
* ** Define and document the overall system architecture across services and components.
* Evaluate technical trade-offs and guide major design decisions.
* Partner with engineering leads to ensure architectural consistency as the platform grows.
* Identify scalability, performance, and reliability risks early and design solutions to address them.
** Required Skills/Experience
*** You have 10-15 years of experience.
* You have significant experience architecting distributed systems at scale.
* You are skilled at communicating complex technical trade-offs to both technical and non-technical audiences.
* You have experience guiding architecture across multiple engineering teams.
* You are an Agentic Engineer - you understand how to design systems and workflows that leverage Claude and modern AI coding tools (agent loops, tool use, context engineering) to accelerate delivery.
** Preferred Skills/Experience
*** You have prior experience with networking, mesh, or edge-computing systems.
* You have experience in a platform or infrastructure product used by other engineering teams.
