Description

An Exciting Opportunity at University High School

San Francisco University High School (UHS) seeks an experienced and driven Sports Performance Coach to join our Athletic Department immediately.

We are looking for someone who believes that athletics is a vital part of a student’s education and who understands that strength and conditioning is about more than lifting weights. It is about building durable, confident, resilient young people. The right candidate will value collaboration, clear communication, and high standards, and will take pride in helping student-athletes improve safely and consistently.

UHS is guided by five core values:
Inquiry, Care, Integrity, Agency, and Interconnection. These values shape how we coach, teach, and work with one another.

About San Francisco University High School

Founded in 1975, UHS is a coeducational independent day school serving approximately 518 students in grades 9–12. Located in the Pacific Heights neighborhood of San Francisco, the school challenges each individual to live a life of integrity, inquiry, and purpose larger than the self.

Our Athletic Department believes that participation in sport builds leadership, resilience, accountability, and teamwork. Sports Performance plays a key role in that mission.
