In this role, you will play a critical part in daily vehicle operations—prioritizing safety, ensuring vehicle readiness, executing software and hardware tests, and serving as a public-facing ambassador for the brand. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including computer vision, infrastructure, sound design, strategy, vehicle engineering, and ride operations.

We’re seeking disciplined, team-oriented operators who are mission‑driven and adaptable. As a Vehicle Operator, you’ll gain hands‑on experience in vehicle and personnel operations while getting a front‑row view into the real‑world challenges and breakthroughs of autonomous technology. This is a unique opportunity to contribute directly to the future of transportation.

Hours:

  • Day Shift: 5:45am-2:15pm, 6:45am-3:15pm, or 7:45am-4:15pm
  • Night Shift: 1:45pm-10:15pm, 2:45pm-11:15pm, 3:45pm-12:15am, or 5:45pm-2am

As a Level 3 Vehicle Operator, you will:

  • Support daily autonomous vehicle operations with a strong emphasis on safety
  • Drive 4–8 hours per day as part of operational testing
  • Perform basic software operation and testing tasks
  • Support missions in a variety of in‑vehicle and off‑vehicle roles
  • Assist with documentation, reporting, and performance metrics
  • Provide clear written and verbal feedback to engineering teams
  • Support vehicle maintenance, logistics, and fleet readiness
  • Conduct daily preventative maintenance checks and basic services
  • Assist with vehicle and equipment movement, storage, and logistics
  • Ensure vehicles, equipment, and work spaces are clean and operational
  • Complete paperwork related to vehicle readiness and operations
