Local Delivery Driver (CDL w/Hazmat)

Location:

San Francisco, CA

• Pay: $36/hour for CDL A holders; $34/hour for CDL B holders.
• Potential monthly bonuses.
• Schedule:
  
  Monday–Friday, 6 am to 5 pm.
• Sign‑on bonus: $3,000 paid in two installments.
• Referral bonus: $500.

• Cylinder Handling
  :
  Safely load, deliver, and unload cylinders containing compressed gases to external and internal customer locations.
• Record Keeping
  :
  Accurately record deliveries and pickups on a manifest, obtain customer signatures, and collect empty, rejected, or unsold cylinders for return to plant or branch.
• Safety and Compliance
  :
  Adhere to Airgas safety standards (SAFECOR) and regulations from DOT, EPA, FMCSA, FDA, OSHA.
• Warehouse Support
  :
  Assist in the warehouse or dock as needed.

• Valid Class A CDL or Class B CDL with hazardous materials (Hazmat) and air brakes endorsements.
• Hazmat endorsement is mandatory; candidates lacking it will not be considered.
• Maintain appropriate driver’s license, medical card, and endorsements.
• No more than two traffic convictions, or no more than two at‑fault accidents in the last three years; or at most one traffic conviction and one at‑fault accident in the last three years.
• No driving under the influence of alcohol or controlled substance within the last seven years.
• Work in a drug‑free environment.
• Ability to regularly lift 75 lbs and move more than 125 lbs with material handling equipment aid.
• One year of CDL driving experience within the last five years or proof of recent trucking school completion.

• Forklift experience.
• Additional year of CDL experience.
