Level 3 Vehicle Operator

Full‑time. Pay: $29.00 per hour.

Schedule:

Multiple schedules, including swing shifts and weekends (PST).

At the forefront of turning the company's vision into reality, you will ensure safety, maintain vehicle readiness, complete software and hardware tests, and represent our client’s brand as an ambassador to the public. You will assist and interact with multiple teams across the company, from computer vision, infrastructure, sound design to strategy, vehicle engineering, and ride operations.

• Support vehicle operations and deliver 4–8 hours of safe driving per day.
• Conduct basic software operation tasks.
• Support missions through a wide variety of roles in and out of vehicles.
• Assist with documentation and metrics.
• Provide accurate written and oral feedback to engineering teams.
• Support vehicle maintenance and logistics.
• Conduct daily vehicle preventative maintenance checks, services, and repairs.
• Provide logistical support for the movement and storage of vehicles and equipment.
• Ensure readiness and cleanliness of vehicles, equipment, and the workplace.
• Assist with paperwork and documentation related to vehicle readiness.

• Day Shift: 5:45 am–2:15 pm, 6:45 am–3:15 pm, or 7:45 am–4:15 pm.
• Night Shift: 1:45 pm–10:15 pm, 2:45 pm–11:15 pm, 3:45 pm–12:15 am, or 5:45 pm–2 am.
• Day Off:
  Thursday–Monday or Friday–Tuesday.

• Weekend shifts: 5 % per hour bonus.
• Night shifts starting at 1 pm or later: additional 2 % per hour bonus (7 % total on weekends).

• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Eligible to be an autonomous vehicle test driver under California Public Utilities Commission requirements, including pre‑employment and random drug testing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent driving history and no criminal history.
• Proactive mindset and resourcefulness.

Commitment:
This is a full‑time (40 hours per week) ongoing contract position staffed via Hire Art. It will be open to candidates local to the San Francisco Bay Area.
